We have now entered the world of digital journaling. I have to say that once I built one of these and used it I spent weeks making all of the digital journals that I would want. I love having the library on my iPad, especially for meetings. It has helped me so much with following along, sometimes with the stickers and features I feel like I have a kid's activity book at the meetings, but a grown up version;) This is a digital item so it won't be mailed physically, but you will be able to download it instantly, yay!
This journal has all the needed pages for a full year of broadcast notes. You can pick up using it on any month. The table of contents are linked. If you are in scroll mode you can tap on the month and it will take you to that month's section. If the link isn't connecting just tap the pen icon in the top right corner. This swaps from scroll to edit mode.
Features:
Reusable- You can duplicate your book so that when you fill it up you can start a new one.
You can duplicate more pages as needed or delete unused pages.
You can take notes by typing or writing with your apple pen, and notes are easily erasable.
You can highlight and make lots of custom highlighter colors.
You can bookmark pages so as to easily keep your place or save favorite pages.
You can copy and paste pictures from articles to add photos to your journaling.
You can add pages from another pack to customize your book if desired.
If you get a sticker pack you can use the stickers as much as you like.
It's pretty awesome. These are the basic features however, there are lots of tips and tricks you can learn with GoodNotes over time.
Use the icon with the pen in a circle in the top right corner to switch between scrolling and writing.
Important note: We wanted to offer this to those who were already familiar with digital journaling that have requested these. Our staff isn't super techy so we aren't equipped to offer guidance or support with downloading GoodNotes or using it. There are loads of little videos on YouTube that can help you import the file and tinker with it. I'm honestly not very tech savvy myself but it took only a few hours or so before picking up how to use it. You can look into how much a GoodNotes account is, I believe there is a small fee for using their app after adding multiple books.
The file is a GoodNotes document so it only works with the GoodNotes app. We wanted to pick one app to use and we absolutely love GoodNotes so all of our digital notebooks will be in this format. (GoodNotes isn't compatible with Android tablets)
