We wanted to make a special pin for those working hard in all of the facets of LDC. We spent a lot of time with construction group overseers and they truly pour themselves into their projects. We thought a lot about the verse to best represent LDC workers and we thought the verse where Nehemiah asks for his hands to be strengthened to rebuild the temple was very fitting to how those in LDC rely on Jehovah.
The artwork on the card is a favorite, a brother painted this for us years ago and at the time we were working 3 days a week building a hall and it really hit home with the sun setting and the brothers who were joyfully arm in arm after a long day of work.
